Do the Monday blues got you down? How many Mondays have you started off dreading? It’s time to change that. As we all know, Monday is the day when we start a new work week. But it doesn’t have to be as stressful as many people make it out to be. You can enjoy your Monday mornings by starting them right and adopting some simple habits that will help you feel more positive about this day of the week.
Eat breakfast within 45 minutes of waking up
A healthy breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It fuels your body with energy and helps you lose weight. It also gives you more control over what you eat throughout the rest of your day, which means less snacking on unhealthy snacks like chips or candy bars.

To avoid the Monday blues, start on a healthy note. Make sure that your first meal of the day includes protein (e.g., eggs) and fiber (e.g., whole-grain cereal). This combination will keep hunger at bay until lunchtime without causing blood sugar spikes or crashes later on in the day–which can lead to overeating later in response!
Drink a glass of water with lemon, lime, or mint as soon as you wake up.
Drinking water is one of the most important things you can do for your health, but it’s often overlooked. The body needs water to function properly and stay hydrated. Drinking water first thing in the morning helps you wake up, stimulates your metabolism, and prepares you for the day ahead.
If you’re not a fan of plain tap water (and we don’t blame you), try adding lemon or lime slices or fresh mint leaves to make it more palatable!
Start your day with at least 30 minutes of exercise
You can start your Monday morning the right way by exercising. This will help you sleep better, feel more energized and focused, and maintain a healthy weight. Exercise also helps you avoid injuries that might slow down or derail your day completely.
Start with a 30-minute workout at least three times per week (for example Monday-Wednesday-Friday). Try to find something that’s fun for you! You don’t have to go for an hour every time; just get moving!

Keep it simple when it comes to music; avoid playing really loud music or anything that might be too distracting
Music can be a great way to start your day. It’s a good idea to choose music that isn’t too loud or distracting, but also not too boring. Try to pick something uplifting and makes you feel good!
While you’re getting ready, do some stretches or light exercise. This can help keep your body healthy and will help you feel better for the rest of the day.
Instead of checking email right away, spend 15 minutes meditating, doing yoga, or just relaxing, so you start your day feeling refreshed and focused.
You can do this anywhere. The key to meditating is clearing your mind of distractions, so it doesn’t matter whether you’re sitting on a cushion in your living room or standing up in line at the bank.
If you don’t have time for an entire yoga class, try taking a few minutes each day to focus on slowing down and breathing deeply. If that sounds too challenging, try just taking three deep breaths before going to work or getting out of bed–it’ll help calm your nervous system and get ready for whatever lies ahead!

You can have a positive Monday morning if you start early enough and adopt these habits
- Start your day early.
- Get a good night’s sleep.
- Do something you enjoy in the morning, like reading or listening to music.
- Eat breakfast in the morning, not at lunchtime! It will make you feel energized and happy all day long!
The above tips can help you to beat the Monday blues, so that you can start your week the right way and avoid feeling stressed because of work or other issues.
